Obituary for HENNIGAN

HENNIGAN, HARVEY LINDSEY Age 77, of Los Lunas, passed away on February 22, 2014 due to complications following a recent surgery. He was born in Florien, Louisiana on February 28, 1936 to Ira James and Madge Mae (Thomas) Hennigan. Harvey grew up in southeast Texas and moved to New Mexico in 1958 following his discharge from the US Navy, where he served as a Gunner's Mate aboard the USS Collett. He retired in 1995 as the Facilities Officer for Sunwest Bank/Bank of America, where he worked for more than thirty years. Harvey, a 32nd Degree Mason, was a member of the Santa Fe Lodge of Perfection. He enjoyed the outdoors and especially loved exploring the Jemez Mountains. Harvey was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Huey, James, Kalcie, and Aldon. He is survived by Marie, his wife of more than fifty-four years; daughter, Jodi Hennigan of Los Lunas; daughter, Bari Hennigan and husband Steven Davis of Dallas, TX; grandson, Seth Davis of Dallas, TX; step-grandson, Phillip Davis of Dallas, TX; sister, Veda Rawls of Woodville, TX; sister, Lucille Salter of Deweyville, TX; brother, Gayle Hennigan of Port Arthur, TX and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Friday, February 28, 2014, Harv's Birthday, 10:00 a.m., at FRENCH - University Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
