SAVITT, LEO age 98, died November 21, 2013, in a nursing home in St. Louis, Missouri. He was born in New Jersey and lived most of his life in Albuquerque. He served in the Army Air Corps in World War II and worked at Sandia National Laboratories as a photographer. He was the youngest and last sibling of a family of nine. He was buried in a private ceremony at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis. Survivors include his wife Selma Savitt of 71 years; two daughters: Marilyn Savitt-Kring and Helen Savitt Jacobs; three grandchildren: Shannon Lee Jacobs, Jonathan Kring and Edward (Teddy) Kring, and many nieces and nephews.
