 MERREIGHN, DOUGLAS LYNN Douglas L Merreighn, age 53, of Albuquerque, NM, died at 1:10pm on Sunday, February 2, 2014 at Presbyterian Hospital. He was born May 24, 1960 in Albuquerque, the son of Merle and Mabel Merreighn, the youngest of his siblings. A lifetime resident, he was a Journeyman Electrician for 33 years, honor student at Sandia High, gifted athlete, wood sculptor and musician (guitar). His parents preceded him in death. Surviving are his wife Anna of 22 years; daughter Candra Bergerons of Jaffrey, NH; and sisters Patricia Phillips of Albuquerque, Barbara Lommen of Montgomery, AL, and Merlene Merreighn of Albuquerque; two grandchildren; and nieces and nephews, some who were close in age to his own. Prayers from family and friends near and far, surround him. What made Doug special was his off-beat sense of humor, spiritualness, humble of heart and a good soul.
