WILLIAMS, VIRGINIA FRANCES "GINNY" April 1, 1934 - February 7, 2014 Ginny left us Friday February 7, 2014 to join her beloved husband Walter and son Stacey. She was also preceded in death by her parents Maybelle and Meyer Shon and her brother Larry Shon. She is survived by her sister Sara Lightfoot and by her children; son Scott Williams (Talaine) daughter Sara Fordice (Mark) and grandchildren; Brianna and Julian Fordice, Gabrielle, Francesca, Olivia, Meredith Williams. Virginia and Walter were married in August of 1955 in Las Vegas Nevada. Walter's career in the Air Force took them too many stations all over the world; Germany, Azores, Philippines and many state side bases. Ginny's career in banking services lead her to managing the Safeway Credit Union in Albuquerque, NM. Virginia was very active in the Daughters of the Nile, Queen of the Nile 1989. For many years the Williams' were involved with the Shriners, Walter was Potentate in 1994 with Ginny serving as First Lady of Shrinedom in NM. She was also a member of the Eastern Star, Assistance League of Albuquerque and the Shriners Honored Ladies. A Memorial Service will be held at the Ballut Abyad Shrine Center in Albuquerque.
