ARAGON, EMMA A. 1909-2014 Emma A. Aragon, age 104, a resident of Tome, NM passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2014. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Tome. Emma was also a member of the retired teachers association. She retired as a Valencia County school teacher after 30 years of outstanding service. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 68 years, Cristobal Aragon; parents, Max Aragon and Margarita Orona Aragon; sisters, Manuelita Garcia, Mary Gutierrez, and Ester Peralta; brother, Louie Aragon and; son-in-law Albert Sanchez. Emma is survived by her children, Lourdes A. Sanchez, Margaret A. Jaramillo and husband, Tony, Euvaldo B. Aragon and wife, Eleanor, and Clorinda A. Sanchez and husband, Felix; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 23 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Max Aragon; sister, Dorothy Chavez; brother-in-law, Crecencio Aragon and wife, Ofelia; and sisters-in-law, Juanita Aragon and Emma Aragon; and also many nieces and nephews. Services will be held at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Tome, on Saturday, January 25, beginning with a Viewing at 9:30 a.m. and a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Tome Catholic Cemetery.
