STARSKY, EDWARD H. age 85, died peacefully in his home in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. He was preceded in death by his parents Leah and Harry Starsky and his beloved wife Karen. He was originally from Rochester, NY. He is survived by his son, Scott Starsky (children Sarah and Jacob) of Boulder, CO and his daughter Pamela (Michael) Kogan (children Samantha, Hannah and Jackson) of Pacific Palisades, CA; brother Ron (Vicki) Starsky of Rochester, NY; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved cocker spaniels Rachel and Lacey. Special thanks for the love and kindness of his caregivers over the last two years; Antoinette, Chantau, Dana, Elenore, Lorraine and JD and to his guardian angels Irene, Mark and Melissa. A graveside service will be at Vista Verde Memorial Park, 4310 Sara Road, Rio Rancho on Saturday Jan. 18 at 11:00 am with a Celebration of Life occuring at the Westside UU Church, 1650 Abrazo Rd NE, Rio Rancho at 1:00 pm. It has been suggested that memorial contributions be made to the Westside UU church or the Jewish Community Center in Edward's name.
