CARLSON, RICHARD REES, LCDR, U.S. NAVY (RET.) Age 90, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, passed away Friday, December 20, 2013. Born July 23, 1923 in Cleveland, OH, he is survived by his wife, Mildred; daughter, Karen; son, Arne; step-daughter, Linda; and many extended family members. A WWII veteran and retired naval officer, he was an honorable man. All that knew him loved him and will miss him greatly. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at FRENCH - Wyoming followed by ennichement at Santa Fe National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the New Mexico Shriners, 6600 Zuni Rd SE Albuquerque, NM 87108.
