 MARTINEZ, DANIEL PATRICK Loving son, brother, uncle and friend went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Monday, December 23, 2013 at the age of 40. He was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Daniel adored his family and loved spending time with them. He was an active member of Ascension Church; enjoyed watching football, a true fan of the Dallas Cowboys; playing baseball and was a painter. He was preceded in death by his grandma Agnes Carrillo. Daniel is survived by his parents Jose and Diane Reyes and biological father Daniel Patrick Martinez, Sr.; sisters Rebecca Reyes, Amanda Reyes and Kristina Reyes; brothers Estevan Martinez and Jesse Martinez; his nephew Brandon James Gallegos, whom he adored; grandfather Carlos Carrillo; grandmother Juana Reyes; his favorite aunt Eileen Burks and husband Tommy; many other aunts; uncles; cousins and friends. Daniel will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitations will take place Friday, December 27, 2013 at Garcia Chapel, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a Rosary to follow at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Church of the Ascension 2150 Raymac Rd SW, Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Pajarito Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kristina Reyes, Robert Chavez, Joey Lente, Jeffery Chacon, Juan Romero and Jose Juardo. Honorary Bearers are Tommy Burks, Alfred Nieto, Juan Reyes and Tomas Talamante.
