Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Tuesday December 10, 2013

SCHRAMM, MARK S., MD 12/10/56 - 3/29/12 To my brother It is hard to believe you are not here, leaving this world almost two years ago from the disease which you successfully treated so many people. Born in Albuquerque to the late Arnold and Charlotte Schramm, preceded by grandfather Eugene Schramm. Always knowing what you wanted in life and doing it well; graduating from UNM with a degree in Biomedical Engineering, going on to graduate from UNM Medical School and then moving to Virginia where you went to MCV in Richmond for Internal medicine. Specializing in cardiology, you studied at Utah and UTMB-Galveston as a Fellow in Cardiology. Returning to NM you practiced Cardiology in Farmington for many years. Moving back to the Albuquerque area, where in retirement, you enjoyed playing golf with your buddies, spending time with family, pursuing all your hobbies perfecting your Chocolate Chip Cookie - You are missed & as you always quoted, "Ars Longa Vita Brevis"
