HAWKINS, JESSE HAWKINS passed away in a tragic accident on December 4, 2013. Jesse is survived by his loving wife Dimitra, two daughters Melissa (husband Jullien Leleux) and Tracy (husband Michael Caudill and son Henry). He is also survived by his siblings Linda, Dan, Matthew, Arthur, Sally and Andrew, parents Arthur Hawkins III and Carolyn Goodell, and a large extended family. Jesse was a devoted, loving husband and father whose legacy will live on in his family. One of his most recent joys was spending time with his grandson Henry. Jesse was a true renaissance man who lived life to the fullest. He loved flying, sailing, cycling and connecting with nature. A fly fishing extraordinaire, Jesse took every opportunity to get to the river. He shared his many skills and passions with family, friends and the community. Jesse was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps who was dedicated to helping disabled active-duty and military veterans through Project Healing Waters. He was a Program Manager at Lockheed Martin Corporation where he will be remembered as a respected leader, teacher and mentor. Jesse touched the lives of everyone who knew him and will be deeply missed. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 12, 2013 at 11am at Daniels Family Funeral Services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Project Healing Waters or Wounded Warrior Project.
