NESS, SUSAN M. "SUSI" went to be with the Lord on 11/13/13. She was born in Portland, OR and raised in Butte, MT. She was a devoted mother, sister, aunt, friend, and a loving part of many lives. She was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church serving many years as Communion Assistant, Attending Minister, Usher, and Property Committee. She also attended Glorybound Ministries, her daughter's home church. She was a Chaplain at East Heights Moose Lodge. She loved to dance and belonged to Duke City Singles and Crazy Eights. She retired after 42 years with the USDA Forest Service. She was preceded in death by her father Donald Mitchell. She is survived by her daughter Jenee; sister Jeannie; brother-in-law John; nephew David; and mother Mildred Mitchell. She is also survived by numerous friends who are like family to us. Special heartfelt thanks for gifts of love and support from so many friends/family who helped us including her home hospice nurses and aides. A very special thank you to her caregivers, Patricia and Cherry. All your prayers are gratefully appreciated. A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at a later date.
