OWENS, CLARENCE M. Age 86, passed away surrounded by family on Tuesday, November 19, 2013. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Shirley L. Owens; son, Steven C. Owens; son, Lee D. Owens; daughter, Kim E. Owens; daughter, Alice M. Wisniewski; daughter, Lori L. Nowicki and husband, James; 15 grandchildren; and 17 great- grandchildren. Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, Archie A. and Alice M. Owens; and brother, Lee R. Owens. Clarence served in the Armed Services during WWII as an Auto Repairman. Later, he and his father, Archie, owned a construction company in New York. He and his family moved to Albuquerque in 1969 so that he could work in construction year round. After he retired, he worked with the APS Campfire Kids Program. Clarence was very artistic in many areas: writing poems and stories, drawing, and oil painting. Services will be held on Monday, November 25, 2013, 11:00 a.m., at FRENCH - Westside, with visitation one hour prior from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 924 Menaul Blvd NE.
