 VAN HORN, TRAVIS J. Age 33, a resident of Albuquerque since 1984, was lost on Wednesday, November 20, 2013. Travis graduated from Sandia HS and attended NMMI and CNM. He was a combat veteran of the Iraq war and served with distinction in both the NMNG and US Army. Travis was a Master Mason and a member of Temple Lodge #6 in Albuquerque, NM and was raised in 2008. He also was a 32nd degree mason of the Scottish Rite Orient of NM. He is survived by his father, Joe Van Horn Jr. of Phoenix, AZ; mother, Nancy Van Horn of Edmond, OK; grandparents, Joe and Helen Van Horn of Albuquerque. Services will be held on Friday, November 29, 2013, 10:30 a.m., at FRENCH - University. Interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. Friends may visit FRENCH - University to pay respects on Wednesday, November 27, 2013, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Travis Van Horn Memorial Fund at Wells Fargo Bank.
