KNAPP, GERALDINE Age 86, of Moriarty, NM passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2013 in Albuquerque, NM. Geraldine was born November 23, 1926 in Louisiana to Henry Clarence and Gladys (Myreck) Smith. She lived in Moriarty for the past eleven years having previously lived in Mesa, AZ. "Gerri" retired from Cary Grove High School in Illinois as a guidance department secretary. She was a secretary most of her life but also retired from Discover Card in collections. She had a great love watching her grandchildren and their friends in the rodeos. She also loved fishing in the lakes of Wisconsin and Illinois when she resided there. Geraldine was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother and great-grandmother and she loved the Lord. She was a Sunday school teacher and a Vacation Bible School teacher. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, brothers; and sons Michael Jenkins and Ronald Jenkins. Geraldine is survived by her loving husband of 55 years Darwin "Skip" H. Knapp Jr. of Moriarty, NM; sons Robert Jenkins of WA; Jeffrey Knapp, Dale "Chris" Knapp and his wife Traci of Belmont, MI and Scott Knapp of Moriarty, NM; twenty grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 2:00p.m. at Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM.
