Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Sunday November 10, 2013

DEARING, CHARLES ANTHONY (TONY) Charles, age 41, of Albuquerque, NM, died Saturday, November 2, 2013. He was born in Little Rock, AR, to Charles William Dearing and the late Patsy Gayle Martin Dearing. Tony was a heavy equipment mechanic for Dearing Construction Services in AR and performed stucco and landscaping services in NM. He was respectful and kind and had twinkling blue eyes. Children were drawn to him because of his sweet, child-like spirit. He had a dry sense of humor and was a compelling story teller. Tony is survived by father, Bill Dearing of Sherwood, AR; his sister, Jill A. Dearing of Albuquerque, NM; brother, Lawrence W. Dearing of Foley, AL; along with many other extended family members. A memorial will be held Sunday, November 17th, 8 a.m. at St. Martin's Hospitality Center (1201 3rd Street NW, ABQ NM 87102) where Tony was deeply involved, having lived and worked there. In lieu of plants and flowers, if you wish to donate to the mission, please send funds to St. Martin's, PO Box 27258, ABQ, NM 87125 or online at www.smhc-nm.org.
