 CHAVEZ, ARMELINA J. Age 79, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2013. She was born in Cubero, NM on June 24, 1934, to Max and Alfreda Jaramillo. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Daniel Chavez, Sr.; sister Ramona Vallejos and her daughter-in-law Linda Chavez. Armelina is survived by her children, Mary Helen Chavez and her husband Alfonso Torrez, Daniel Chavez, Jr., Esther Chavez, Jeanette Garcia and husband Benny, Elma Chavez, Benjamin Chavez, Sr., Kim Chavez and wife Gena; 23 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren; brother Senobio Jaramillo; sisters Julie Baca, Cecelia Alatorre, Dolores Sanchez, Theresa Jaramillo and numerous extended family members and friends. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. Visitation will take place Friday, October 25, 2013, from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm at Our Lady of Light Catholic Church, Cubero, New Mexico with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 26, 2013, at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Light Catholic Church, Cubero, New Mexico. Burial will take place at Cubero Cemetery following service.
