Obituary for CLARY

CLARY, PATSIE "PAT" E. Age 76, Born in Mississippi, but a resident of Albuquerque for many years, died on Wednesday, September 25, 2013, surrounded by her family and friends, after a battle with lung cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents James and Verna Dansby, her daughter Elayne Rosaire, and a few grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her dog Princess, her companion-Best Friend of the last 8 years; two brothers; three sisters; four children and their spouses Shelly and Ron Armstrong; Ellen Seymore and Jackie Garner; Donnetta Woodard; Rocky and Linda Clary and Veronica and Eric Lovato, 16 Grandchildren; 27+ great-grandchildren and many other family and friends. Her day started and ended with a glass of Lipton Tea and a cigarette. She loved crosswords-word search; fishing; camping and watching Law and Order. Her hobbies were collecting brass, cookbooks, pictures of family and friends. Always a very compassionate, caring and loving woman who always had a smile on her face. She believed and taught us that you could do anything you put your mind to. We were never to give up and everyone deserves a second chance, sometimes three or four. For the Holidays her home was always open to anyone that didn't have a place to go, we will continued that tradition. She worked in several different fields and wasn't afraid to try anything and worked hard all her life.The viewing will be held Monday September 30, 2013 1:00-1:30pm at Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th St NW Albuquerque, NM. A gathering to honor her memory will be held at the daughters home (Veronica Lovato) 5404 Kokopelli CT NW Albuquerque, NM 87114, cell 620-9804.
