 CORDOVA, VALERIE ANN Valerie Ann Cordova moved on to eternal life in the Kingdom of Heaven with our Lord Jesus Christ on September 25, 2013. She was born in Albuquerque, NM on April 11, 1963 to Rosella Cordova and Manuel T. Cordova. She was preceded in death by her loving father, Manuel Teodoro (Ted) Cordova. She is survived by her mother; Rosella Cordova, brother; Tom Cordova and wife Cindi, sisters; Susan Lopez and husband Tim, Denise Mello and husband Spencer, nephews and nieces; Carlos Cordova, Ben Cordova and wife Caley, Victor Cordova and fiance Courtney Harmer, Seth Mello, Lillian Mello and Christopher Lopez, and her beloved cat Mikey. Pallbearers will be her nephews and niece, whom she loved dearly: Carlos Cordova, Ben Cordova, Victor Cordova, Seth Mello, Lillian Mello, and Christopher Lopez. Valerie was a graduate of Valley High School and went on to attend Mesa Community College and the Phoenix Institute of Technology. She was a loyal employee with Federal Express for 26 years. She was an active core member of the St. Therese Parish Life Teen group and a loved member of the parish. She was a kind, loving, compassionate, and generous, daughter, sister, Aunt, and friend. Valerie's life celebration will begin with a Rosary on Monday, September 30th at 7:00pm at The Shrine of the Little Flower St. Therese of the Infant Jesus Catholic Church (3424 Fourth St. NW) A service will be held at the same location on Tuesday, Oct 1st at 10:00am, followed by a committal service at Mt. Calvary Cemetery (1900 Edith Blvd. NE). In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to St. Therese Life Teen, 300 Mildred NW, Albuquerque, NM 87107.
