HISTIA, ANDRES A. Age 101, a native of Acoma Pueblo and a resident of Isleta Pueblo, passed away Saturday, September 21, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Miguelita Jojola Histia; daughters, Marlene Coriz and husband, Alonzo and Lynn Conner and husband, Norman; step-children, Cheryl Hunt, Rosalee Ann Lucero, and Myron M. Hunt and wife, Phyllis; grandchildren, Christopher Coriz and Andrea B. Abeita and husband, Neil Sherer; step-grandchildren, Stephen Norman and wife, Samantha, and Jamie Stickney and husband, Tom; step-great-grandchildren, Georgina and Harrison Norman; and brother, Ray Histia and wife, Harriet. Mr. Histia was preceded in death by his first wife, Randy Histia. Andy served in the US Army during World War II in North Africa and Italy. He was a "Neon Sign Man" with Zeon and Ace Sign Companies. He retired from the US Postal Service. He was a loving father, grandfather and great- grandfather to all his children. A Rosary will be recited Friday, September 27, 2013, at 7:00 p.m. at FRENCH - University. Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 28, 2013, 10:00 a.m., at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Isleta Pueblo. Interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Friends may visit FRENCH-University, on Friday, September 27, 2013, one hour prior to the Rosary.
