CHAPMAN, KATHLEEN (KAY) Age 90, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Monday, September 2, 2013. Kay lived by the Shakespearean quote "To thine own self be true, and it must follow as night follows day. Thou can'st not then be false to any man." She is survived by her sisters Mary McHugh, Madge Benson, Gertrude Scully, Pat Power and Joan Broderick, all of Canada; her children Michael R. Chapman and his wife Sheri, Norma Jacques and her husband Mike, Robert P. Chapman and his wife Kim, and Connie L. Lee and her husband Mark. She also is survived by her grandchildren, Christian T. Chapman, Robert P. Chapman, Jr., Amy Helvie, Thomas M. Chapman, Michael R. Lovelace, Ryan C. Chapman, John Adam Chapman; and great-grandchildren Analiza, Mikka, Rylan and Cashton. Kay was preceded in death by her husband Thomas R. Chapman and brother Ron Smith. A Memorial Prayer Service will be held Monday, September 9, 2013 at 10:30 am at Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th Street, NW, ABQ, NM. Reception following at 1646 Flora Vista Dr, SW, 12:00 - 1:30 pm. Interment Santa Fe National Cemetery, 3:00 pm.
