DELGADO, DELLA Age 84, resident of Albuquerque, NM went to be with our Lord Friday, August 16, 2013. Della was born in Corrales, NM on March 25, 1929 to Victor Tafoya and Margarita Garcia. Della grew up riding horses along the Rio Grande along with her siblings. Della lived her life to please God and devoted most of her time to her family. Her greatest legacy was her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Felix Tafoya; and sisters, Rose Gutierrez and Stella Lucero. She is survived by her children all residents of Albuquerque, Paul Calderon and wife Martha, David Delgado, Margaret Apodaca and her husband Walter, Julian Delgado, Robert Delgado and his wife Evangeline, Abby Juarez, Larry Delgado, Jerry Delgado, Esther Cavazos, and Frank Delgado. She is also survived by her ten siblings; numerous nieces and nephews; 29 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; and ten great- great -grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, August 24th at Abundant Life Christian Outreach Church, 2851 Arenal Rd. SW.
