 BARELA, ERNEST D. age, 69, born in Ft. Sumner, NM, and a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on August 10, 2013 at home with his family at his side. Mr. Barela is survived by his wife of fifty years, Mary E. Barela; children, Anita Barela, Danny Barela and Charlean, Maria Barela and boyfriend, Marcelino Manriquez; sisters, Frances Pena and Ramona Sena; brothers, Willie Barela, Elias Barela and wife, Lucy, Manuel Barela and wife, Rosa; grandchildren, Nicole Larranaga and boyfriend, Nathan War, Amanda Barela and boyfriend, Dominic Baca, Antonio Nieto, Tesla Barela, Santos Herrera and Estevan Manriquez; great-grandchild, Julian War; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Barela was preceded in death by his parents, Espidion and Carolina Barela; brothers, Felix, Ricardo and Frank; sisters, Mary Maes and Macedonia Lopez. Visitation will be Thursday, August 15, 2013 at the Family Worship Center Church, 7311 Glenrio NW, from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. with a Funeral Service at 9:00 a.m., Pastor Chad Wingback, presider.
