DUKER, THOMAS "TOM" C. Tom, 74, passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 29, 2013. Tom was born in Burlington, Iowa, to Carl and Virginia Duker, one of three children. He was raised in Santa Fe, NM, and joined the military following high school. He remained in the Army Reserve until his retirement as a Master Sgt., having worked as a traveling sales manager for many years, and later moving to Oregon. He worked in Portland for a time where he met the love of his life, Donna Hope, and together were united in marriage in 1989. They enjoyed traveling and moved to Albuquerque where he enjoyed working for the New Mexico Environmental Dept. Tom was very active and made Mt. Angel, OR, his home for the past ten years. He was a member of the American Legion, served on the Emergency Management Advisory Committee of Silverton and worked with the Certified Emergency Response Team of Mt. Angel. Tom was a wonderful man who loved his children and always put his family first and he will be greatly missed. Services have already taken place. Arrangements by Unger Funeral Chapel in Mt. Angel, OR.
