GONZALES, PATRICIO "PAT" was born on June 16, 1928 in San Marcial, New Mexico and passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2013 at his home in Socorro, New Mexico. He worked for Bureau of Reclamation. retiring in 1975. Pat honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War Era, stationed in Kadena. He loved to play bingo, fish, go camping and spending time with his great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose M. and Ana Maria Trujillo Gonzales; baby brother, Sam Gonzales; two sisters, Inez Vallejos and Alice Stapleton and by his granddaughter, Erica Padilla. Pat is survived by his wife Fumiko J. Gonzales of Socorro; daughter, Mega Gonzales of Socorro; sons, Patrick J. Gonzales and companion Melanie Dunn of ABQ., Michael Kelly of Bullhead City, AZ.; granddaughters, Vanessa and Jacob Petalco of Okinawa, Japan, Kadena Air Base, Cassandra Silva and companion Ernest McBride Jr. and Angelica Diaz all of Socorro; grandson, Tino Joseph Silva and companion Danielle Sanchez; great-grandchildren, Jacob Jr. and Ryan Petalco of Japan, Michael, Gabriel and Patrick McBride all of Socorro, Anthony, Andres, Natalie, Josiah and Briinelle all of Socorro, Dyana and Ricardo Jaramillo of ABQ., Melody and Harmony Diaz; sister, Pauline Gonzales of Socorro; many nieces and nephews as well as other family and friends who loved and will miss him. Services will be held at San Miguel Catholic Church, 403 El Camino Real, Socorro N.M. 87801. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at 7:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 10:00am. Burial will follow at the New San Miguel Cemetery, on Blue Canyon road.
