WOOD, NORMA LEE Norma Lee Wood, 83 of Fort Sumner passed away June 28th following an illness. She was born October 18, 1929 in Taiban, NM to the home of Sam N. Martin and the former Hazel Isabell Hall. She worked as bookkeeper, and along with her husband owned and operated Fort Sumner Auto Company for many years. Norma Lee married Floyd Earl "Flea" Wood on June 30, 1951 in Fort Sumner. Survivors include two brothers Herbert Martin of Lubbock, Texas and George Martin of Estancia, NM. Funeral services 10:00 am Tuesday, July 9, 2013, Chavez Funeral Home Chapel, Fort Sumner, NM. Burial will follow at Fort Sumner Cemetery, Anna Teeter will officiate.
