Obituary for GONZALES

GONZALES, DAVID MICHAEL born in San Antonio, NM on October 10, 1921 and passed on June 21, 2013 in Albuquerque after a short illness. David not only never met a stranger, he made sure all people he came into contact with were friends with each other, as well. David drove himself to the casino every day until three weeds before his death. David worked for the federal government as a guard and then plumber on Kirtland AFB. After he retired, he started his own plumbing business, which he ran until 1992. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Lutgarda, children Richard Gonzalez (Mike), Rebecca Wiegand (Ken, dec.), Paul Gonzalez, Priscilla Gonzalez (Mikaela), Roberta Smith (Martin); grandchildren Kenna, Dava, Daniel, Mikhaela, Gabriella and great-grandchildren, Liam and Owen. He will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held at Holy Family Church Wed June 26, 2013 at 11:00am
