 GARVIN, ROCKNE "ROCKY" MICHAEL January 3, 1959 - June 8, 2013 Rocky was the firstborn son of the late James and Patricia Garvin. He was born in Toledo, OH, grew up in Albuquerque and Rio Rancho, NM, and moved to Hawaii in 1989. Rocky is a treasured son, brother, husband, and father; a friend to many and has never met a stranger. His generous heart and giving spirit have touched many over the years, as he found great joy in serving others. He is survived by his wife Mary; his daughters Malia and Roxanna; brother Brian Garvin; sisters Kim White, Kelly Garvin, Shannon Steckbeck, and Tiffin Perkins; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. We will miss his laughter, but we will daily celebrate his life and embrace every moment we were blessed to spend with him. A Memorial and Celebration of his life will be held in Albuquerque in October; details to be announced at a later time.
