 OTERO, MARIA H. 1946-2013 Maria H. Otero, age 66, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2013. She was born on November 29, 1946 in Albuquerque, NM. Maria lived in El Paso and Albuquerque before settling in Los Lunas. She worked as a telephone operator at Kirtland AFB and loved to decorate cakes, make floral arrangements and spend time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paciano and Augustina Saavedra Garcia; and brother, Nicolas. Maria is survived by her son, Alex Otero and wife, Sylvia; two daughters, Yvonne Griego and husband, Randy and Irene Otero; 10 grandchildren, Ivan, Orlando, Priscilla, Miranda, Selena, Yolanda, J'Neal, Jordan, L'Reene and Lexus; great-granddaughter, Bria; brothers, Mike, Gilbert, Ralph, Ruben, Lawrence; and three sisters, Alice, Theresa, and Millie. All services will be held at San Clemente Parish in Los Lunas, on Monday, June 24, beginning with a visitation at 9:00 a.m. with a rosary to be recited at 9:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be held at a later date.
