Obituary for SINGLETARY

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Sunday April 28, 2013

SINGLETARY, STEPHEN J. Age 49. My dear Stephen, (Sweet Pea) you have fought this terrible cancer for the last year and four months with such courage, strength and dignity. You kept the good faith until the end and not knowing when the end would be. I admire your strength physically, emotionally, but most of all spiritually. Your faith in God was strong. I am so proud and honored to be your wife. I have learned so much from you. It was hard to see you go through all your treatment. At the end, the will of God was fulfilled. My heart is broken and my pain is immense. I will miss you until I see you again in heaven and there will be no more tears. Your family and friends also love you and miss you, but we all know that you are no longer in pain and you are at peace. I will miss you until I take my last breath. I will love you forever. I will see you in heaven. Love your wife. Rev. 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Stephen is survived by his wife Yasmin; parents Bert and Linda Singletary; brother Mark Singletary and wife Connie; sister Susanna Jordan and husband Keith; mother-in-law Gisela Garcia; four nieces and three nephews; and one great-niece.
