 SUMMERS, DONALD L. Age 80, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away April 22, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen; children, Kenneth, Michelle and Daniel; as well as grandchildren Nathan, Carissa, Cassidy, Carolyn, Jayden and Joshua. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Ruba Summers of Hershey, Nebraska and an infant grandson, Charlie. Born in North Platte, Nebraska, Donald became an avid pilot at the University of Nebraska. He served in the USAF, owned and drove a sprint car, and also was a volunteer on the Sandia Peak Ski Patrol for 42 consecutive years. Services will be held Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at 11:00 am at La Mesa Presbyterian Church, 7401 Copper NE.
