BROWN, AUDIE MAE of Mountainair, NM, died on the evening of April 16, 2013 at the age of 95. Born in Oklahoma on June 4th, 1917 to parents Lily and Marvin Watts, Audie was a very spiritual, hard-working and loving soul throughout her entire life. During her lifetime, Audie owned her own restaurant, cooked for the JobCorps and in her later years quilted and donated handmade blankets to the Veterans of America. She enjoyed baking, cooking, quilting, and spending time with friends and family most. Audie lived most of her life in Torrance County, living over 50 years in Mountainair. Audie is survived by her daughter, Sherryl Brown and her husband Seth; sisters Inez Baker and Thelma Berryman; three grandchildren, Mark Pachta, Ashley Davey, and Raechell Brown; and three great-grandchildren, Taylor Davey, Christian Pachta, and Chase Dornan; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her husband Elzie Brown and her daughter Armatha Lillian Pachta. Funeral Services will be held in Mountainair at the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary on Monday, April 22nd at 2:oopm. Audie was a very special lady who will be missed by many. Her spirit will continue to live on in those who loved her most
