 MCDONALD, JACQUELINE M.D. Age 87, passed away Thursday March 7, 2013. Dr. McDonald was raised in Albuquerque during the 1930's while her father was head of the Albuquerque VA hospital. She recalled riding horses on the VA grounds during her youth. She graduated from Marquette Medical School in 1950 -one of eight females in a class of 92 medical students. Dr. McDonald trained in California completing her radiology residency at the VA Hospital in San Francisco, California. She then completed one year of additional training at Children's Hospital in San Francisco. Dr. McDonald was an Assistant Professor of Radiology at UNM from 1973 until 1980. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, March 18, 2013, 10:00 a.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. Her urn will be interred in Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Edinburgh, Scotland. Dr. McDonald is remembered as a sensitive, caring, and dedicated individual.
