PULLEY, GEORGE GRAFTON Age 66, a resident of Albuquerque, NM, since 1971 passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 3:07 a.m. He is survived by his wife, Vera Pulley; aunt, Dorothy McInnish; daughter, Dorothy Elizabeth Walker and spouse, Mike; step-daughter, Kimberly Nance and spouse, Adren; step-daughter, Kendra Matthews and spouse, Aaron; his grandchildren include, Jeremy and Heather Thompson, James Robert and Virginia Ann Nance, Daniel Matthews, and Logan Matthews is expected in May; and step-mother, Kathleen Mildred Pulley. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Katherine McInnish; his father, George Henry Pulley; and his brother, Robert Glen Pulley. George was born in Amarillo, TX, on January 10, 1947 and graduated from Amarillo High in 1965. He received his A.S. degree from Amarillo College in 1970 and a B.B.A. from Texas Tech in 1971. He developed software for check processing and was founder and CEO of GGPA beginning in 1979, which grew to an impressive 35 employee's. He retired in 1999 and sold his company to Jack Henry and Associates. George was known for his gourmet meals and celebrations and enjoyed traveling with friends and family. He was an accomplished balloon pilot and mentored many, enjoyed fine woodworking and in recent years developed a fondness for shooting craps at the casino. He lived life to the fullest and left an indelible mark in many lives. Visitation will be held Friday, March 15, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Westside. Services will be Saturday, March 16, 2013, 12:00 p.m., at FRENCH - Westside.
