PAYNE, ROGER LEE age 54, resident of Rio Rancho, NM passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2013 in Denver, CO. He was born in Lakewood, CO on November 6, 1958 to Shirley Payne and Frank Payne Sr. Roger loved to watch racing after spending 4 years drag racing in Albuquerque NM. He went on later to become the tech official at Napa Motor Speedway for 5 years. He loved to go fishing/camping, playing pool, and spending time working on cars with his two brothers. Roger loved to take his dogs for rides in his truck while he went to yard sales. He also served in the Navy. He is survived by and lives on through his mother, Shirley (Stevens) Payne, his brothers Bill and Frank Payne, their wives Corrine and Stephanie Payne; his uncle Floyd McClelen; and his niece Jennah Payne. Roger was proceeded in death by his brother Buddy Payne, and his aunt Sue McClelen. We take comfort in knowing his pain is gone and he is at rest, rejoicing with Jesus.
