GONZALES, ANDRES V. Age 62, a beloved, uncle, and friend passed away peacefully in his home on February 20, 2013. He was born on January 3, 1951 in Las Vegas, New Mexico. Andy is survived by his five brothers, Lorenzo, Gene, Tanny (and wife Nela), Clarence (and wife Eppie), Armando (and wife Maryann); and two sisters, Martha Garcia (and husband Tony), and Emilia (and husband Tony). Andy is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, and grand-nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, Estanislado and Lucy (Tafoya) Gonzales. Andy was very proud of his family and enjoyed visiting with his brothers, sisters, nephews, and nieces whenever he had the opportunity. There will be a mass celebrating his life at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 403 Valencia St., Las Vegas, New Mexico at 1:30 PM on Tuesday, February 26th. Interment will follow at the San Jose Cemetery. Pallbearers are Eugene 'Bro' Gonzales, Nicholas Gonzales, Jason Garcia, Santiago Gonzales, Geronimo Gonzales, and Christopher Delgado along with honorary pallbearers Estevan Padilla and Gregory Lopez.
