 NIETO, DANNY On Tuesday, February 19th, Danny Nieto, age 63, of Albuquerque, NM, beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to all who ever met him, geared up for his ride to Heaven, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his son Stephen and wife Valerie, and daughter, Angela, and boyfriend Rob Romero; grandchildren Robert and Nicholas; sisters Lucy, Lillian and husband Richard, and Priscilla; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Felix and Benerita; and brothers Diego and Eddie. Danny enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, riding his Harley and watching a Western on TV. He retired from the City of Albuquerque, working with the Albuquerque Fire Department in their supply division. The family would like to thank Presbyterian Hospital and Hospice for their care and professionalism. Also, thank you to all the people who gave Danny a reason to smile, for it is that smile will live in our hearts forever. A Rosary will recited at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church on 4th and Alameda on Monday, February 25th at 7:00pm and a Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 26th at 9:00am at the same location.
