WERNER, DONALD LEE age79,of Sun City AZ, passed away on Jan 4,2013 at Boswell Memorial Hospital in Sun City. Don graduated from Morgan Twp High School in Wanatah, Indiana in 1950,served in the US Army,earned an ARE degree from Valpariso Technical Institute, and a BSEE degree from San Jose State University. He started at Sandia Labs in Albuquerque in 1957 and moved out to Sandia Livermore Laboratory in California where he eventually retired. He was a member of The Salem United Church of Christ and a member and past president of The National Singles Square Dance Association. Don is survived by his sister Shirley Adams of Clayton NC and a niece Jennifer Adams of Clayton NC.Services were held on January 15th at the Salem United Church of Christ in Wanatah Indiana followed by burial at the Salem cemetary in Wanatah.
