 CHAVEZ, RAMONA HINOJOS-CHAVEZ age 73 of Albuquerque, passed away on Thursday February 14, 2013. Ramona was born on August 14, 1939 in Chihuahua, Mexico to the late Epitacio and Manuela Hinojos. She is survived by her husband of 41 years Salvador Chavez; her sons Rudy Orozco and wife Theresa, Gabriel Orozco and fiance Mary Griego, Ramon Orozco and wife Cynthia; her daughters Rose Orozco, Nora Orozco and Arturo De Santiago; 14 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; her sisters Cuca Torres, Petra Ortiz and husband Jesus, Delia Rodriquez and husband Antonio; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister Victoria Gallegos and her brother-in-laws Siki and Cheyo. Visitation with the family will be held from 4 to 6 pm Monday February 18, 2013 followed by a rosary service at 6:00 pm at Salazar & Sons Mortuary. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11:00 am on Tuesday February 19, 2013 at San Jose Parish, 2401 Broadway Blvd. SE. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons Raymond, Orlando, Ricco and Jose Angel Orozco and Arturo De Santiago Jr. and grandson-in-law, Mike Sena.
