THOMPSON, CAROLYN RAE Age 76, a lifelong resident of New Mexico died February 14, 2013. She is survived by her husband Walter (Tommy) Thompson: daughter Glennys Elliott and husband, Rusty Elliott of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Brandon Weems and wife, Tanya, Chris Elliott, and wife Kenza, Preston Weems and fiance, Lauren Mangels, Laura Landis and husband, Parker; great-grandchildren; Samuel, Willow, and Knox Landis, Keely, Claire, and Julia Weems, and Delila Elliott; sister Betty Wearden and nephew Steve Wearden, sister-in-law June Cotton and niece Julie McCormick, and nephew Wayne Procter, nephew Bill Nowlin. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Maude Procter, her brother Roy Procter Jr., and son-in-law Elton Weems. She was a member of the Netherwood Church of Christ, had worked as a Real estate Broker, taught exercise and water aerobics classes, as well as actively involved with Bible classes and women's ministry, her neighborhood association and support groups for those with Macular Degeneration. A memorial service will be held at FRENCH - Wyoming on Monday, February 18, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at Santa Fe National Cemetery on Thursday, February 28, 2013.
