BALDING, JEFFREY EARL of Albuquerque, NM passed away peacefully in his home on February 11, 2013 with his loving wife Paula by his side. To know Jeff was to love him, he was a force of nature with a magnetic personality that drew people to him. He was the light and life of every gathering and embraced everyone with his warmth and humor. For those of us that were lucky enough to call him husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, or friend, there will forever be a huge void and emptiness in our hearts and lives. Jeffrey is survived by his devoted wife, Paula Otero-Balding; daughters, Jessica, Susannah and her fiancee Randy Fender; sons, Alexander Balding, Nelson Culley and his fiancee Kiele Padama; his step-children, Mark McCrea and his daughters Jade and Kiara, Cassandra Cruz and her husband Cain and Craig Ford; sisters Sherry Kirk, Jennifer Betterson and her husband Tom, and Elizabeth Griffith. Jeffrey was preceded in death by his father SMSgt (Ret.) Lawrence M. Balding, mother Thelma J. Balding, and sister Cathy. Services will be held at The Shrine of St. Bernadette Catholic Church on Saturday, 16 February 2013 at 8:00 am. Following the services there will be a reception and celebration of Jeffrey's life at his home in Albuquerque. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Wounded Warriors on Jeffrey's behalf.
