QUINTANA, LOUIS LEROY "LULU" was born on August 3, 1943 in San Francsico, California and passed away on Monday, January 21, 2013 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was preceded in death by his father, Felix "Chano" Quintana; his mother, Petra Quintana; and brother, Gilbert Quintana. He is survived by his brothers Robert "Bobby" Quintana of Las Vegas, New Mexico and Alfred "Freddy" Quintana and wife Judy of Albuquerque, New Mexico; one aunt, Marylou Gonzales of Las Vegas, New Mexico; one niece and three nephews. Leroy graduated from West Las Vegas High School in 1962. He served in the U.S. Army from 1967 to 1969, with one tour in Vietnam. He lived in California before moving to Albuquerque, New Mexico. A funeral Mass will be recited on Monday, January 28, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Joseph of the Rio Grande, 5901 St. Joseph Drive, NW, Albuquerque, New Mexico. Burial will be at the Santa Fe National Cemetery also on Monday, January, 28, 2013 at 2:15 p.m. Leroy had many interests, which included jewelry making, mountain climbing, and he definitely had a green thumb. He will be greatly missed by all who were a part of his life.
