ELLIOTT, JACK LEONARD Born April 3, 1926 in Little Rock, Arkansas and went to be with his heavenly father on January 18, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard L. Elliott and Edna (Stevenson) Elliott. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Lou Nell (Trawick) Elliott and two daughters, Carey (Elliott) McIntyre and husband John McIntyre, and Dr. Elise Elliott; one granddaughter, Rebecca (McIntyre) Timmons and husband Scott Timmons; and three great grandchildren, Clara, Jack and Lily Timmons. Jack served in the Navy and trained as a pilot during World War II. He graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1950. He married Lou Nell in 1951 in Little Rock, AR, and moved to Albuquerque, NM in 1962. He started his own successful real estate business, Elliott and Stevenson, Realtors. He was president of the Board of Realtors in 1971. He was an active Deacon in Baptist churches in Albuquerque and was a member of First Baptist Church of Los Lunas at the time of his death. He was a talented musician and played the violin and French Horn. He played violin with Apple Mountain Strings and Things. He loved to sing and sang with quartets at churches. He was a back up singer in a production of "Oklahoma" at Popejoy Hall in the 1970's. He enjoyed being a Ham Radio Operator. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be missed. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Los Lunas, 914 Los Lentes Road, SE, Los Lunas, NM. A visitation will be held at FRENCH University on Monday, January 21, 2013 from 6:00 8:00 p.m. Should friends desire, contributions may be made to Vista Care Hospice.
