ESTERMYER, THOMAS Age 43, died suddenly on December 25, 2012. Tom was a computer engineer who helped found the high tech start up LookingNew Inc. in Albuquerque, NM. Tom was an extremely bright man. His co-workers described him as a genius, and " the smartest person we have ever known.". Tom was loved by his co-workers, and many others whose lives he touched. Tom was a student at the California Institute of Technology in the Applied Physics. He was a student at the GreenHills School in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where he was a National Merit Scholarship winner. Tom was also a track athlete in high school. Tom, founded the startup LA Biotech, and ran the automated testing division of Catalis Inc., a Texas based company. Tom was preceded in death by his beloved mother Patricia (2011), and his father Edward (2011). Tom was a kind and gentle man, who will be missed. A memorial service is planned for Tom at 609 Broadway, Albuquerque, NM on Thursday, January 24th at 2:00 pm.
