 SHIELDS, SANDRA KAY Age 73, of Indian Wells, CA died on Jan. 13, 2013 at Yorkshire House Care Facility, Hemet, CA. She was born in El Dorado, KS on Oct. 24, 1939. Sandy attended Wichita State University where she studied and pursued a lifelong love of music. Survivors include one sister, Lisa J Shields of Haysville, KS; many nephews and nieces; and her companion and caregiver, T. Craig Jackson. Preceded in death by her parents, Robert (Bob) J. Shields and Mary E. Shields Torrence and one brother, Michael R Shields. Memorials may be sent to: Inland Empire Hospice, Hemet, CA or The Alzheimer's Foundation of America (AFA). Inurnment is at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Cathedral City, CA.
