 ALDERETE, ANNA L. was born September 9, 1948 in Los Chavez, NM. and passed away on Monday, January 7, 2013 at the age of 64, in Albuquerque, NM. She was preceded in death by her life long companion, John Lattanza; mother, Bernadita Romero; dad, Manuel Alderete; stepfather, Tony Aragon; brothers, Mel Alderete, Manuel Alderete Jr.; sisters, Bernice Gutierrez and Jeanell Gomez. She is survived by her brothers, Johnny Alderete Aragon, Clemente Gomez and Fred Gutierrez; sisters, Mercy and husband William Harrington, Gloria and husband Dennis Romero, Carolyn and husband Manuel Alderete; children's father, Mike Salas; son, Michael Salas; daughter, Donna and husband Steve Dumont; grandchildren, Michaela and Michael Salas Jr. and many nieces, nephews and friends that who loved and will miss her greatly. Anna was a wonderful mom, friend and an amazing caregiver to others. She was a member of New Beginnings Church and a sponsor of The Special Olympics. Anna also was a six year cancer survivor. Services will be held at New Beginnings Church, 3601 Montgomery Blvd. N.E. Albuquerque on Saturday, January, 12, 2013 with a Viewing at 9:00am with Services at 10:00am. Burial will follow at Pajarito Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ralph Escamilla, Jonathan Alderete , Adrian Alderete, Joe Duran, Greg Romero, Mel Alderete Jr., J.J. Armijo.
