RUPP, DAVID IRA of Alamogordo, NM, a former judge in the 12th Judicial District Court, died December 13, 2012, at the age of 65. Rupp graduated at UNM Law School in 1980 as a visiting student from California Western University-San Diego and practiced law for 30 years in NM before being appointed to the bench by former Gov. Bill Richardson in January 2010. Rupp grew up in Albuquerque, attended Sandia High School and in 1965 joined the US Navy, later serving with the Marines as a medical corpsman in Vietnam. He is survived by his three children, daughters, Heather Dollins and Katie Rupp and son Benjamin Rupp; his grandchildren, Taylor Dollins, Teresa Dollins, Kyla Rupp, Ayden Rupp, and Brennan Elrod; and great-grandson Josiah Rupp. Rupp is also survived by his siblings, Deborah Rupp Goncalves, Douglas Rupp and Dianna Rupp.
