BLOCK, SHERRY LOGAN February 26, 1937-July 13, 2006 Sherry Sweetheart, 60 years ago when we would park in front of your house after a date, your mother would flash the porch light at 10:00 p.m. to let you know it was time to come in. I jokingly told you if we got married you wouldn't have to go in so early. You told your mother I had ask you to marry me. She asked, "If you are engaged where is the ring?". So, on December 22, 60 years ago today, I gave you your engagement ring then took you to the Christmas dance at Highland High School. Six months later when you turned 16 we got married. So, I guess that joke was the sweetest joke of all time. Merry Christmas Sweetheart. I love and miss you, T.J.
