 ORTIZ, JOSE (JOE) CLORINDO age 89, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on November 24, 2012 at home with his family at his side. Mr. Ortiz is survived by his wife of sixty-six years, Josephine; daughters, Virgie Archuleta and husband, Alex, Marie Antoinette Lopez and husband, Tommy; sons, Charles Ortiz and wife, Rennee, Anthony Ortiz and wife, Ronnette; eleven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; grandson, Diego Ortiz Duran. who was a wonderful caregiver; sister, Geneva Chavez; brothers, Arturo Gonzales, and Antonio Gonzales; special family friend, Roberto Lopez; and many extended family members. Mr. Ortiz was preceded in death by his mother, Ramona Gonzales; sisters, Felicita Lopez, Virginia Candelaria, and Rosie Alice Armijo; brothers, Lucario Gonzales, Fred Gonzales, and Juan Gonzales. Mr. Ortiz was a member of the Catholic Church, and was retired from Sandia (Labs) Corporation. Visitation will be from 9:45 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. with a Rosary at 10:15 a.m., by Karen Herrera, at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW; Mass of Christian Burial to follow the Rosary at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 29, 2012.
