 JAMES, ANTONIO Tony James, beloved husband, father, and grandfather "Papou", passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, November 10, 2012. Tony was born to the late Louis and Effie James in St Louis, Missouri, on December 27, 1934. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Sonia; his daughters, Tara Bishop and husband Jim, Erika Bernardone and husband Dean; son, Kino James and wife, Analisa Villarreal; and daughter, Ariana West and husband Neil; and his wonderful grandchildren, Louis and Alyssa Bernardone, Skye and Tao West, and Joshua and Audrey James. He is also survived by his sisters, Penny Karagianis and husband Lou, and Connie Papas; and brothers John James and wife Francis, and Gus James. Tony graduated from the University of Missouri and was a retired life insurance agent. Tony was an avid golfer and loved gardening, traveling and the outdoors, especially the Jemez Mountains. He adored his family and loved spending time with them. His family and friends will dearly miss him, but his positive influence on their lives will continue for generations. A memorial celebrating his life will be held on November 17th at 2:00 pm at the Albuquerque Country Club.
