HOSTUTLER, CAROLINE MARY Of Albuquerque, New Mexico, died peacefully at her home on November 7th, 2012 at age 84. Born in Lakewood, California, May 21, 1928 to Percy and Bernice Todd, Caroline was a true California girl. She lived in Lakewood until she hit the road as a Naval officer's wife in 1947. Bob and Caroline settled in Albuquerque with their two daughters in 1960. From her early years decorating the Officer's Club for every holiday or event imaginable, to her later years of retirement using pastels to create custom artwork for friends and family, Caroline was an extremely creative person whose talents touched many. She traded racquetball for golf in her retirement years and played regularly until her death. She loved to watch tennis and her beloved Lobos. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hostutler and granddaughter, Hillary Blount. She is survived by her daughter Lynn and husband Marty Martinez of Corrales; daughter Lee and husband Gary Blount of Woodbury, Minnesota; grandson Todd and wife Jaime Kline and their sons Connor and Clark; grandaughter Amy and husband Eric Poppinga and their sons Luke and Cole; grandson Justin Blount; grandson Michael and his wife Pam Martinez and their son Jeffrey; and granddaughter Denise Boyden and her daughter Jennifer and son Wade.
